Each week you will learn aspects of the performing arts including theatre, film, television,commercials and including drama, comedy and improv. From this beginner program you will find what you like best and become prepared to start your journey into your own brand of acting in our inclusion classes. Location: Lincolnway Area Special Education Cooperative/Pioneer Grove Educational Center in Frankofr, IL Dates: The program schedule will be June 4 through July 23, from 6:30 to 8pm, with a performance (for the students' invited audience) on Thursday, July 30 in the evening -rehearsal at 6:30pm and show from 7:30 - 8:15pm. Tuition for each student is $125. Checks will be payable to Covered Bridge Studios. Qualified aides will be hired to assist in the class. (covered by tuition costs). The class requires a minimum of 5 and will be limited to a maximum of 20. Target Audience: The class will be for HFA and Asperger' children, from 10 to 18 years of age (but we will accept those older or younger by special arrangements with the instructor.) Instructor: Daniel Wm. DeWalt, Artistic/Executive Director & Instructor for COVERED BRIDGE STUDIOS AND THEATRES. Daniel is an Actor, Director and Writer with credits on stage, in film and television, in addition to his work as a Producer and Teacher. He has studied at a number of schools, most notably THE SECOND CITY TRAINING CENTER & CONSERVATORY where he graduated as an Improvisational Actor and Director. Daniel has worked for a number of theatrical companies and has a variety of teaching credentials and awards. All Instructors and Assistants teaching for CBStudios/Theatres are qualified and personally trained by him. Daniel has worked with children and adults of all abilities and challenges and has had a tremendous amount of success.
